You are invited to the Louisville premiere of "A Legacy Lost and Found: Segregation in Recreation".
Come learn the story of Cherokee State Historic Park through this engaging documentary directed by Dr. Tammy Holmes and Executive produced by Dr. Nancy Dawson. Cherokee located on the banks of Kenlake was Kentucky's first and only state park for it's black citizens during the Jim Crow era. The premiere will take on February 24th from 6-8 P.M at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage with a Q&A session directly after the film!
